TBD is a decision making toy that caters to life’s indecisive moments.

In 2017, our team at Uncorked Studios were tasked with creating another holiday gift for our company friends. Building on what we did the previous year using the tools and resources we had in-house, we decided to create another holiday gift using what we had in the office.

We landed on creating a decision making toy which was a spinner that included custom designed plates and a dry-erase surface to answer any questions you may have. Our team wanted to make something utilitarian and with customization features, but also create something with a platform that we could build upon in the future (pushing out new custom plates for our users to add upon their spinner toy).

The team at Uncorked spent hours designing out the base of the spinner (from what wood we should use, what plastic the spinner should be), spending days at ADX Portland using their CNC router to punch out wooden bases for the toy, to even hand flame polishing the finishing touches on each spinner.

Watch the video at the bottom of the page to learn more about the product as well as see the process that went into it.
